This Privacy Policy describes how Politheon, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website at https://politheon.com (the “Site”).
By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Site.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
The Site is currently an informational website. We do not require you to create an account, submit a form, or provide any personal information to browse the Site. If you contact us directly by email, we will receive your email address and any personal information you choose to include in your message.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure and any analytics services we use. This may include:

3.1 Artificial Intelligence and Personal Data
Politheon is an agentic AI legislative intelligence platform. We do not use personal information collected through the Site to train, fine-tune, or improve our underlying artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Personal information processed in connection with the Site is used solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
To the extent that our employees use AI-enabled tools in the course of our business operations, such use is subject to internal policies and controls designed to protect personal information and ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our hosting infrastructure may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, performance, and security purposes. We do not currently use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or measurement tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to identify those tools by name, describe the data they collect, and provide opt-out instructions where available.
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including refusing or deleting cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.
Our Site does not currently respond to Do-Not-Track (DNT) browser signals, as there is no uniform standard for interpreting them. If a standard is established, we will update our practices accordingly.

We use third-party service providers to assist us in operating the Site and conducting our business. These providers may process the automatically collected information described in Section 2.2 on our behalf. The categories of service providers we engage include:

We have not sold or shared personal information with third parties for business or commercial purposes in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we do not intend to do so.

Log data is typically retained for up to 90 days, unless a longer retention period is required for security investigations or legal compliance.
If you contact us by email, we retain your correspondence for as long as necessary to address your inquiry and for our records, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible (for example, because information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and destruction. Despite these safeguards, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or that we process.

As noted in Section 6, we do not sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising or profiling purposes.
California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), you have the rights described above. We collect only the category of “Identifiers” (specifically, IP addresses and similar technical identifiers collected automatically through server logs). We do not collect personal information as defined in the California Customer Records statute, protected classification characteristics, commercial information, biometric information, or sensitive personal information through the Site.

If we decline a request, you may appeal by emailing us at the same address. If your appeal is denied, you may file a complaint with your state attorney general.
California “Shine the Light” law: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors.
